About

Julia is a crossover soprano and 2026 Vocal Performance graduate of the Eastman School of Music. Raised in Rochester, New York, she began her classical voice training at the Eastman Community Music School at the age of thirteen. She has a passion for exploring her Hispanic heritage through music, froish Zarzuela opera arias to Puerto Rican boleros. Equally at home on the operatic stage and in musical theatre, some of her favorite performance highlights include Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Cosette in Les Misérables, and Jeanette in The Anonymous Lover. Julia is a first-place winner in competitions spanning musical theatre, classical, and opera aria categories, and made her professional opera debut in 2025 as an Apprentice Artist with Finger Lakes Opera.
